Games

I know you think it's silly and childish of me to still enjoy playing computer games, but why can't you just let it be? It's my outlet, it does not harm anyone, and other than that, I'm not your prototypical basement geek. I don't need to hear you go off every time about how dumb they are. You don't like them, fine, don't play.

Are you playing games when you could be spending time with your family? That may be what's really upsetting her.

My ex would play video/computer games while I was awake - and in the mood. Then he'd cop attitude with me because I didn't want to be awoken to have sex after he was done playing his games. Maybe she just wants some attention.

I understand what your saying but agree with her a time to be with her and one when she doesn't mind you being on the console

I agree with the poster. My wife did the same thing. When we met, I had lots of computer stuff, and she knew it was my hobby. This never changed when we were dating, got engaged, got married, or had kids. At any point prior to walking up the aisle, she could have bailed if it really bothered her that much. But instead, she just complains and whines constantly about it, even though I have greatly reduced my time with this hobby (which is now directly related to my line of work) and mostly work with it after she has gone to bed.
